We have one of those go go kidz set of wheels. Worked really nice as it doubled as a stroller through the airport (we checked the other stroller downstairs). Once we boarded the plane, we gate checked the seat in a bag with the wheels on. Can't recall which bag, but it has seemed to hold up pretty well. It was something we bought at BRU nothing like the fancy backpack you had.

We borrowed one of these from a friend for a plane ride, since we were taking the car seat on the plane: http://www.gogobabyz.com/product-i14550-c26-gogo_Kidz_Travelmate_.aspx

It worked pretty well, except for getting the seat through security (didn't fit with the wheelson) and down the aisle (too wide)

Granny Nanny here to fill in the historical background. The 'head gear' was crocheted by my maternal grandmother for Ed as my mother regularly referred to him as our Prince Edward; from the time of his birth until her death. (But she wouldn't ever let me stuff him in a can?>). Both those women said he would grow into a man worthy of a crown; he just needed to practice & I needed to believe. Yes, Ed wore his crown proudly & regularly. He also shared it with Raggedy Andy, Cathy Monkey, the Bionic Man, & GI Joe; and, on brief occasions, with his sister. I'm sure those two women look down from heaven with knowing smiles of "I told you so". The first day I took the crown to Logan, he did in fact, rip it from his head almost immediately. But, unlike other hats, he seemed intrigued as he methodically studied & examined it; visually, tactility, & of course, orally. When satisfied, he gleefully slapped it unto his head & laughed. It was a short lived fascination. A couple of other times, while in my care, he's either brought it to me or put it on his head for a few minutes before tossing it aside. It does warm my heart, to see these pictures of Logan, a little clone of his father, wearing his crown proudly. (hmm, I wonder if his mother will ever want to put him in a can)?
You young folks, do understand about the can?? The tobacco in the can? It was an old joke: never mind.

I know there is a picture somewhere of me wearing this hat. I'm pretty sure I don't have a copy of it. My mother mentioned the other day that there was such a thing, perhaps she'll find it. If it ever appears, you can be sure I'll post it.

As a person familiar with such things, I can confirm that the hat is crocheted.

This entry is incomplete without a picture of you in the hat. Just saying.
